Grace Manor Mobile Food Pantry

Grace Manor operates a Mobile Food Pantry from a renovated school bus. ANYONE in need of food or fellowship is welcome. We partner with other organizations to bring useful information and assistance to our "shoppers".

Straw Bale Gardening

Straw Bale Gardens are an effective, quick and enjoyable method of gardening that requires a straw bale, fertilizer and plentiful watering. No dirt, digging, weeding is required! Our goal is to not only provide food through the Mobile Food Pantry but to teach our families how to grow their own food~ especially gearing this experience towards kids. Volunteers have taught and displayed at Jonesborough Farmers Market and Grandview Elementary School. We are always looking for more opportunities to reach kids!

Teaching people (especially children) to grow their own food is paramount to providing food.

Community Garden

The Community Garden was created with the assistance of youth from Praying Pelican Missions. All produce is distributed from the Mobile Food Pantry or used to teach individuals how to prepare and preserve food. It is 28' X 32' with a drip irrigation system. We use many different growing mediums and techniques.

Community Relationship

We believe strong communities are built through connection and compassion. Our mobile food pantry brings people together—neighbors helping neighbors—to ensure no one faces hunger alone. Through local partnerships and dedicated volunteers, we’re creating lasting impact, one meal at a time.

Food Prep & Cooking

Good food brings people together. Our amazing volunteers help with everything from chopping veggies to cooking and packing meals, making sure each one is fresh, healthy, and made with care. It’s all about teamwork, good vibes, and making sure no one goes hungry.
